Terms & Conditions
These Terms explain how Andres Aprendes operates, how PayPal subscriptions are billed, and why personalized lessons are non-refundable.
1. Acceptance of terms
- Creating an account, signing in with Google, booking a placement, or paying for a subscription/package means you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the platform.
2. Service description
- We provide Spanish lessons (1:1 and teacher-approved duo/trio), digital materials, and activities via andresaprendes.com.
- Specialties include conversation, DELE preparation, IB Spanish tutoring, and kids/family classes.
- We may update content, features, or teacher availability at any time to improve the experience.
3. Accounts, guardians & security
- Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.
- Account holders and payers must be adults (16+ or the age of digital consent where you live).
- Minors participate only under a guardian-managed account. The guardian is the contracting party and payer.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and must notify us immediately about unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions, packages & payments
- Payments are processed through PayPal (subscriptions and one-time placement/package charges as offered).
- Monthly subscriptions remain the best-value option for ongoing 1:1 lessons. One-time packages are premium-priced.
- Prices are shown at checkout/placement and may change; we will notify you at least 15 days before renewals when subscription pricing changes.
5. Placement lessons & group classes
- Family, kids, and multi-learner pathways start with a paid placement lesson unless we explicitly offer another path.
- Duo and trio enrollment requires similar Spanish levels and teacher approval after placement. We may recommend separate 1:1 lessons instead.
- One parent/guardian pays and manages all learners in a household group. Capacity is limited to the purchased package (1, 2, or 3 learners).
6. No-refund policy
- All sales are final. Because sessions reserve instructor time and custom prep, we do not issue full or partial refunds for subscriptions, packages, or paid placement lessons.
- You may cancel subscription auto-renewal anytime and keep access until the paid period ends.
7. Cancellation & suspension
- Cancel subscriptions in PayPal directly or email bookings@andresaprendes.com at least 24 hours before the next renewal.
- Lesson cancellations/reschedules follow the booking rules shown in your account (typically advance notice is required).
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.
8. Acceptable use
- Recording, distributing, or reselling lessons without written consent is prohibited.
- Do not attempt to access source code or infrastructure, disrupt other users, or infringe intellectual property.
9. Intellectual property
- All materials, brands, and content remain the property of Andres Aprendes. We grant you a limited license for personal educational use only.
10. Limitation of liability
- The service is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or exam results.
- Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid during the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing law
- These Terms are governed by Colombian law. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Bogotá unless consumer laws in your country require another venue.
